Welps, here it is! This is the book cover for my upcoming text, The Readers Guide to Street Literature, published by the American Library Association's imprint, ALA Editions.
In the meantime, thank you all who read this blog and who support my work with Street Lit, libraries, librarians, and education.
A beautiful cover to draw attention to an important work. Between this cover and your content, this will be one cool book to own. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteVanessa, I am so happy I've come across your blog. I am a big fan of street lit (well, the old stuff anyway), but I find the pickings are pretty slim when you are trying to find blogs or forums geared toward street lit writers and readers.
ReplyDeleteJeff, thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteMiz Sharon: thank you for reading my blog, I hope that it is useful to you! Welcome!

ReplyDeleteJust found out the book won't come out until mid-late summer though. So we have about 6 more months to wait ....
Hi Vanessa, is your book available for purchase now? I can't wait to use it in my school, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi BJ! The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and on ALAStore. The link for ALAStore is in the article on this blog post. If you order it now, you'll get it as soon as it drops; thanks for your support - much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteNote: "Fabian said" is actually a Vanessa Irvin Morris comment. I was trying to teach a friend how to post comments on the blog. -- 07/28/2011.
